Colledge preparations and Future Challenges
At Francis-Leon International Academy, our focus on the individual means that we nurture intellectual freedom and foster meaningful faculty-student relationships that develop your unique talents. You will feel safe to take risks, learn from personal exploration and lead activities you are passionate about. You'll also be better prepared for university because we focus on critical reading, persuasive writing, public speaking and independent research skills. When you learn to deal with uncertainty and navigate ambiguity, you will grow in confidence and experience wherever your journey leads.
Academic Excellence
Exceptional examination outcomes that reflect not merely rote learning, but genuine comprehension and mastery of concepts. Our students consistently demonstrate strong performance across standardized assessments whilst maintaining their natural curiosity and love for learning—a balance that speaks to the effectiveness of child-centred pedagogy.
Our staff and faculty know your child as a unique individual inside and outside the classroom and therefore value individual expression and intellectual freedom. Students are encouraged to pursue their passions and participate in new learning experiences.
Holistic Child Development
Comprehensive personal and social growth fostered through mixed-age classrooms where older children mentor younger ones, cultivating leadership, empathy, and collaboration.
We nurture independence, critical thinking, and self-discipline—qualities that extend far beyond the classroom and prepare children for lifelong success.
Prepared Learning Environments
Thoughtfully designed spaces equipped with specialized Montessori materials that invite exploration and discovery. Our classrooms are calm, orderly, and aesthetically pleasing environments where every element serves an educational purpose, from the child-sized furniture to the carefully curated learning materials.
We nurture independence, critical thinking, and self-discipline—qualities that extend far beyond the classroom and prepare children for lifelong success.
Solar Panels at the Academy
Francis-Leon International Academy has three solar arrays around campus, all added between 2018 and 2021. This advancement in renewable energy was to facilitate uninterrupted learning
The batteries recharge overnight when demand (and electric rates) are low and release energy when it is most needed, reducing the carbon footprint of the school. Alleviating periods of excessive demand with a shot of stored energy helps utilities avoid turning to heavily polluting diesel generators. The Solar Farm is an integral part of the school's commitment to creating a sustainable campus.
Looking Ahead
Strong moral and ethical foundations developed through the Montessori emphasis on grace, courtesy, and respect for oneself, others, and the environment. We cultivate children who are not only academically capable but also socially conscious, emotionally intelligent, and equipped with the values necessary for responsible global citizenship.
